Three days ago, I made my [first post on Palnet.io](https://www.palnet.io/palnet/@uyobong/some-awesome-facts-about-the-fresh-palnet-io-or-similarities-and-differences-with-steemit-com). It was a keen comparison between https://www.palnet.io/ and https://steemit.com/ which is the native DApp of Steem. 

I must sincerely commend the Palnet team  who has put in spo much time, knowledge, skill and expertise to the build of Palnet.io which usage qualifies a user for #palcoin. This further revives the hope of Steem users concerning the long awaited Smart Media Tokens on Steem.

### What is PALNet (https://www.palnet.io)?
PALNet (https://www.palnet.io) is a Nitrous instance of steem-like frontend built on the Steem Blockchain. PALNet (https://www.palnet.io) is not a fork, neither is it a new chain. Everything posted on PALNet is viewable and can be engaged upon on any of the Steem interfaces/frontends.


#### My Palnet Testing/Bug Discovery #1
As Palnet is still in its Beta stage, I hope that the Building team will be glad to receiver users' responses to enable  the update of the DApp.  As contained in the [whitepaper](https://www.palnet.io/minnowsupport/@minnowsupport/palcoin-launch-a-revised-whitepaper-and-token-launch-by-the-minnow-support-project) published by @minnowsupport, using Palnet for Steem based activities will reward the user with PAL coin. Moreover, upvotes received as a result of engagement on PALnet will afford the author to earn  PAL and PAL Power as pictured below.

The bug I however discovered is that on the [post creation page](https://www.palnet.io/submit.html) as pictured in the banner image, Rewards setting reads thus:

instead of
###### Rewards: 50% PAL / 50% PAL Power (PP)
<p>


I therefore call on the developers to give a touch on that aspect of the DApp to give it the beautiful and perfect it aesthetic it deserves.

### How do You  get PALCoin?
- Ongoing Claim drop available on Steem-engine.
-  Posting through palnet.io (which will add the tag PALNet automatically), or by adding the "palnet" tag.
- Proof of Interaction, this one is fun, we highly value active community members so have set aside a portion of coins to reward active chatters in the PAL server. 
- Get upvoted by a user who has staked PALCoin.
- Buy tokens on https://steem-engine.com/
- Buy a miner using the two available options: PALM (palminer) and PALMM (palmegaminer). 


### What can You do with your PAL Coins?**
- Trade them for votes from the @minnowsupport account (near future).
- Stake your PALCoin and reward other users through voting, and earn the curation rewards which is 50/50.
- Buy ads, users will be able to trade PALCoin for promoted posts on the palnet.io platform
- Trade your tokens on https://steem-engine.com/
