Almost 6 years on Hive and slowly building back up

Almost 6 years ago I joined Hive (then Steemit). Many posts written about everything but especially music. The last 2 years it has been an up and down where I have power downed my accumulated 'fortune'. Useful? No, necessary?, no, but done anyway. I also did not pay it out but invested in Crypto. Not the smartest thing I've ever done either, but the choice of that moment :) .

The only thing I regret about that for now is the contribution to the platform, the delegation to great projects or communities and the upvotes that I like to give to other Hivers (they aren't worth that much right now lol). But actually those things are secondary, of course it is nice if you receive or can hand out nice upvotes, but the essence is bonding with the community.

I have a number of people that I keep in touch with, for example @steevc , @bozz and @brittandjosie. Often about music, life or mutual experiences. @meesterboom is one of those, we share the passion for beer, only he can tell about it much better than I can, just like @slobberchops does about urban buildings.

What I find difficult, but that is actually an investment in time, is to find new steevc's, bozz's etc. To expand the circle with nice and interesting people, how do you do that?
Note. It's not a must though, I think the current contacts are great to maintain, but hopefully you understand what I mean.

There are also quite a lot of people who have left the platform, with whom I had good contact in the past. @exyle and @s3rg3 for example. (although I still have contact with @s3rg3 through other media). Also participants from the very beginning, but still left hive. (for any legitimate reason).

In my opinion, the goal is to continue to bind and connect with people from all kinds of interests. And I will try to focus on that in the coming time, because now that I have written a number of posts again I must say that it is really nice, especially with the interaction with you.

And, last but not least, my HP is growing again in small steps so I hope to be upsteam again soon to be able to contribute to the entire eco-system of Hive and support great projects and initiatives.

I am almost 6 years in did a different route and remaind seated. The fact I still see the others outside hive is a plus. I don’t know where my future will be and like I always say to the newbees it’s not a get rich quick sceme but maybe if you are lucky the coin will skyrocket and you will be able to make your future different and in the mean time just have fun. Don’t let the negativity rule.

I love seeing people jumping back into hive. It's nice to walk away for a while and to be able to come back and get going again.

Over time i hope that we see a lot more of those old familiar names return and join the conversation again.

We sure do Steve, a lot of talented and (often) like minded musicians, and that's what I love a lot. And I do believe Hive is for the stay. I already tried to get some people enthousiastic but they read, try and leave way to soon.
