 This year, with my husband @outlinez, for the first time we planted most of our seedlings with the Snail Roll Seed method. Here are our observations and the results. Our experience has shown that this is not a good method for tomatoes. The roots of the plants did not grow large and strong. The stems also turned out to be thin and elongated. But it should be taken into account that we planted them much later than we had planned. Unfortunately, the weather was not suitable for earlier planting, since in our area there were severe frosts until the beginning of May. Many people's plants froze even in greenhouses, and only those who heated the greenhouses or wrapped the beds well enough managed to save their seedlings. Limonium, Helichrysum and Amobium seedlings turned out great.   The broccoli looked good, but when I unpacked it, it was very difficult to separate it because the tops were intertwined, and the plants are quite fragile and some of them broke.    The pepper seedlings turned out well.  The basil did not grow well using this method, but the parsley seeds grew into wonderful seedlings.  All that remains is to move the kale, to the open bed, whose seedlings were also planted using this method, but that will happen in the next few days. That first attempt for tomatoes is a lesson learned plus the weather is terrible for germinating seeds. Before, I wish we had winter in my place but now I realized that it wouldn't be so nice if I want to keep a lush of veggies in my garden all year. I'm rooting for the tomatoes, I hope they can still recover and grow well. Happy gardening @vesytz
