I accidently transferred 0.0 (zero) ERC-20 Tokens and MetaMask did not warn me 🤬

Ich habe unabsichtlich 0.0 (Null) ERC-20 Token transferiert und MetaMask hat mich nicht gewarnt.

Jetzt, wo die Gas Fees auf Ethereum gesunken sind, habe ich mir gedacht, es ist ein guter Zeitpunkt ein paar Tokens zu transferieren, die ich vorher wegen der hohen Gas Fees nicht transferieren konnte (Gas Fees x-fach so teuer wie der Wert der Tokens).

Blöderweise habe ich dann bei einer Transaktion einen Fehler gemacht und vergessen, den Betrag der Tokens einzutragen (auf "Max" zu klicken). Bei MetaMask ist der Betrag default-mäßig auf 0 und man wird nicht gewarnt, wenn man vergisst den Betrag zu ändern.

Eine Überweisung von 0 Token oder 0 ETH macht eigentlich überhaupt keinen Sinn außer vielleicht zu zeigen, dass man die Keys für eine Adresse besitzt.

Aber die Wallet könnte wenigstens eine Warnung anzeigen meiner Meinung nach.

Ist euch das auch schon mal passiert? Falschen Betrag oder einen Fehler bei einer Krypto-Überweisung gemacht?

I accidently transferred 0.0 (zero) ERC-20 tokens and MetaMask didn't warn me.

Now that the gas fees on Ethereum have dropped, I figured it was a good time to transfer some tokens that I couldn't transfer before because of the high gas fee situation (gas fees x times higher than the value of the tokens).

Unfortunately, I made a mistake during a transaction and forgot to enter the amount of the tokens (forgot to click on Max). In MetaMask, the amount defaults to 0 and you are not warned if you forget to change the amount.

Transferring 0 tokens or 0 ETH doesn't really make any sense at all except maybe to show that you own the keys for an address.

But the wallet could at least show a warning in my opinion.

Has this ever happened to you? Transferring wrong amount or making another tx mistake?

Eigentlich Lustig, aber auch schade um das Geld, denn du hast quasi dem Netzwerk deine Gas geschenkt...

Gas Fees sind im Moment erfreulich niedrig, aber trotzdem schätzt man, wenn man MetaMask verwendet, Hive wieder viel mehr. Zero Gas Fees sind einfach genial und unschlagbar.
