I redesigned my Viki Secrets website 😃
Viki Secrets hat jetzt auch ein neues Layout :) War mega anstrengend, habe fast einen Monat daran parallel zu meiner Virtual Net-Seite gearbeitet und bin froh, dass das Update jetzt endlich fertig geworden ist.

Ziel war, designmäßig möglichst wenig zu ändern, da das aktuelle Theme in dieser Form bereits seit 2011 existiert und jedes Redesign immer ein großes Dilemma ist, ob man überhaupt etwas ändern soll oder nicht.

Technisch ist das Layout aber komplett überarbeitet und skaliert jetzt erstmals auch in der Desktop-Ansicht.

Die größten designtechnischen Neuerungen sind das aktualisierte Design der Viki Secrets Keycard und das Full-Screen-Cover in der Artikel-Ansicht in der Desktop/Tablet-Version.

Ich hoffe, euch gefällt das neue Layout genauso gut wie mir :)

*Viki Secrets got a new theme :) it was a lot of work, I worked on it almost one month parallel to my Virtual Net page and I am glad that the update is finally online.*

*The goal was to change the design as little as possible, since the current theme in this form already exists since 2011 and every redesign is always a big struggle, whether to change anything at all or not.*

*I re-engineered the layout completely for a responsive design, and it now scales for the first time also in the desktop view.*

*The biggest design changes are the updated design of the Viki Secrets keycard and the full screen cover in the article view (in desktop/tablet version).*

*I hope you love the new layout as much as I do :)*

Das Wichtigste ist, dass es Dir gefällt und dass Du es auch sagst. Ich habe beim letzten Mal schon rüber geschaut und jetzt auch wieder. Also mir gefällt die Webseite wirklich sehr gut und es ist doch auch schön wenn man sagen kann es ist geschafft man ist fertig.. !invest_vote Michael

I know what it is like, been doing this for over a decade, following my early beginnings with trying to build a site from scratch. Aside from a book as heavy as a New York phone book, I used [W3Schools Tutorials](https://www.w3schools.com/). No  more.  Too time consuming and cumbersome. I am using templates now from [Weebly](https://www.weebly.com/) and also a couple from [Wix](https://www.wix.com/), only tweaking the CSS on some. But mostly Weebly, where I got nine sites I administrate (one of which is a test site only), and an additional six I am editor.
Example: a site I built for my ex on Weebly [Youthful and Radiant](https://youthfulandradiant.weebly.com/).
