Microsoft wird bei seiner jährlichen Aktionärsversammlung die Aktionäre abstimmen lassen, ob Microsoft in Bitcoin investieren soll. Der Punkt lautet wörtlich "Assessment of Investing in Bitcoin". Bewertung in Bitcoin zu Investieren. Das Shareholder-Meeting findet übrigens nach den US-Wahlen am 10. Dezember 2024 statt, aber wie groß sind die Chancen tatsächlich, dass Microsoft in Bitcoin investiert? Ich denke die Meiningen werden ziemlich gespalten sein. Bekannt ist, dass Bill Gates, der zwar nur noch einen kleinen Anteil bei Microsoft hält, aber als sehr einflussreich gilt, ein Bitcoin-Gegner ist. Steve Ballmer hat sich zu Bitcoin bis jetzt kaum öffentlich geäußert, könnte Bitcoin aber generell etwas aufgeschlossener gegenüberstehen als Gates. Sein Basketball-Team spielte zuletzt in der crypto.com Arena in LA. Die beiden größten Aktionäre von Microsoft sind Vanguard (9.0%) und BlackRock (7.4%), die fast bei allen großen Konzernen bedeutende Anteile halten. Auch hier setzt sich die Trennlinie fort. Während BlackRock auf den Bitcoin-Zug aufgesprungen ist, ist Vanguard immer noch ein großer Gegner von Kryptowährungen. Der Vorstand von Microsoft ist der Idee auch eher abgeneigt und empfiehlt dagegen zu stimmen. Andererseits könnten Aktionäre auch eine Chance sehen, sich intensiver mit Bitcoin auseinanderzusetzen und ein Investment könnte langfristig sowohl technologisch als auch wirtschaftlich Sinn machen. Absicherung gegen die ausufernde Inflation. Ich denke es wird auch vom Ausgang der US-Wahl abhängen, wie sich die Stimmung gegenüber Bitcoin weiterentwickeln wird. Aktuell sieht es aber eher so aus, als würde die Abstimmung eher dagegen ausfallen, aber alleine die Tatsache, dass so ein großes Unternehmen wie Microsoft öffentlich darüber nachdenkt, in Bitcoin zu investieren, zeigt wie weit Bitcoin bereits gekommen ist. At its annual shareholder meeting, Microsoft will let shareholders vote on whether Microsoft should invest in Bitcoin. The item is literally “Assessment of Investing in Bitcoin”. For, Against, Abstain. Incidentally, the shareholder meeting will take place after the US elections on December 10th, 2024, but what are the chances of Microsoft actually investing in Bitcoin? I think opinions will be pretty divided. It is known that Bill Gates, who only holds a small stake in Microsoft but is considered very influential, is an opponent of Bitcoin. Steve Ballmer has not commented publicly on Bitcoin so far, but could generally be a little more open-minded about Bitcoin than Gates. Denke auch, dass es jetzt eher nicht durchgeht, aber wenn zb Trump gewinnt und tatsächlich eine National Bitcoin Reserve anlegt, werden Firmen schnell folgen. In Zukunft werden Firmen nicht mehr fragen, sondern es einfach machen. So wie sie heute Anleihen oder Gold kaufen, um Geld anzulegen.

Ich hatte ja geschrieben, eigentlich müssten ein paar BTC-Wale sich zumindest ein paar MS-Aktien holen und dafür stimmen. Ich glaube, sinnvoller kann man doch Kapital, das nicht benötigt wird, nicht anlegen. Könnte das gegebenenfalls sogar von Vorteil sein, im Ausland gebundenes Kapital zu nutzen, dessen Rückführung sonst teuer wäre?🤔
