omg, "Hive Social" can be confused with the "Hive Blockchain", they are not the same, the former is an Instagram-like social media app not connected to the Hive blockchain.

Aus gegebenem Anlass, "Hive Social" kann mit der "Hive Blockchain" verwechselt werden, wenn man nach hive googelt.

"Hive Social" ist ein eigenes soziales Netzwerk, das 2019 gegründet wurde und eine Instagram-ähnliche Social-Media-App für iOS und Android anbietet.

"Hive Social" hat also bereits vor dem Steem/Hive-Fork exisitiert, aber nicht so lange wie Steemit.

Das "Hive Social"-Media-Startup gibt an 1.5 Millionen User zu haben, aber die Entwicklung scheint vor ein paar Jahren eingeschlafen zu sein.

So wurde die Android-App, die immer noch Beta ist, schon über ein Jahr nicht mehr upgedatet, iOS detto, aber der anfängliche Erfolg von "Hive Social" zeigt auch, wie wichtig es ist, eine Mobile-App zu haben.

Mit einer funktionierenden App und einem einfachen Onboarding (zb über Lite Accounts) und dem notwendigen Marketing, wäre es möglich Millionen normale Social-Media User anzusprechen.

Wäre cool, wenn wir mit "Hive Social" kooperieren könnten und es ein Frontend für die Hive Blockchain würde.

Omg, “Hive Social” can be confused with “Hive Blockchain” if you google for hive.

“Hive Social” is a separate social network that was founded in 2019 and offers an Instagram-like social media app for iOS and Android.

“Hive Social” already existed before the Steem/Hive hard fork, but not for as long as Steemit.

The “Hive Social” media startup claims to have 1.5 million users, but development seems to have stalled a few years ago.

The Android app, which is still in beta, has not been updated for over a year, iOS the same, but the initial success of “Hive Social” also shows how important it is to have a mobile app.

With a functioning app and simple onboarding (e.g. via Lite accounts) and the necessary marketing, it would be possible to reach millions of normal social media users.

Wouldn't it be cool to cooperate with “Hive Social” and make it a frontend for the Hive blockchain?

Offenbar ist Hive ein sehr beliebter Name, gibt auch ein Tech Unternehmen was Hive heißt. Haben sich glaube ich aber mittlerweile umbenannt. …ah sehe grad die heißen immer noch Hive

Yep, Hive ist im englischen Sprachraum ein häufiger Firmenname, Hive Digital Technologies hat früher HIVE Blockchain geheißen, war extrem verwirrend, haben sich dann aber zum Glück umbenannt.

Ich fands anfangs auch verwirrend wo ich nach Hive blockchain suchte. Da poppte immer die Tech company auf. Jetzt gibts Hive.com als Software, dann Hive AI, Hive Modern für Möbel, Hive Social ... sehr unübersichtlich. Ich find die Ecency app super und diese bietet auch viel Potenzial aber die Assoziation fehlt zu Hive; gleiches gilt für PeakD oder auch InLeo.

Ich habe den Namen Hive immer schon als problematisch empfunden weil er auch bei vielen anderen Firmen und Projekten verwendet wird und mich damals auch gewundert dass er ausgewählt wurde.
Keine Ahnung ob da eine Kooperation überhaupt möglich ist, wenn ja wäre es sicher kein Nachteil.
