Mit Signal habe ich leider keine guten Erfahrungen gemacht und habe es inzwischen wieder deinstalliert.
Einmal habe ich zwei Stunden auf jemanden gewartet, der den Termin (nachweislich) per SMS abgesagt hatte. Die SMS ( die durch Signal verwaltet werden sollen) ist bei mir nie angekommen. Ein anderes Mal habe ich eine wichtige Info nicht bekommen, weil ich zwischenzeitlich mein Handy neu gestartet hatte und Signal dadurch aus war. 
Ich verwende am liebsten Telegram, das funktioniert auf dem Handy und auf dem Laptop sogar wenn das Handy aus ist.
