Im Wiener Prater gibt es eine skurrile aber coole VR-Installation, die ich vor einiger Zeit ausprobiert habe: The Shocker Electric Chair im Jolly Joker. Mittels Oculus Rift-Brille kann man sich auf dem elektrischen Stuhl hinrichten lassen. Dachte zuerst, dass man auf dem Stuhl tatsächlich mit einem leichten Strom geschockt wird, aber ist es harmlos und wirklich nur eine Simulation 😂

*In the Vienna Amusement Park "Prater" there is a bizarre but cool VR installation, which I tried some time ago: The Shocker Electric Chair @ Jolly Joker. It's an Oculus Rift-based VR simulation, which simulates your own execution on the electric chair. At first I thought you'd really be shocked with a light current, but it's harmless and really just a simulation* 😂

Hihi, ja ist ein bisschen skurril, man ist im Gefängnis, dann verkündet ein Gefängniswärter das Urteil und dann sieht man wie der Strom (Funken und Blitze) zwischen diesen beiden Handgriffen fließt. Man sieht aber den eigenen Körper und die Hände nicht. Ist eigentlich nicht so arg, da gibt es noch Verbesserungspotenzial 😂

Ich finde das schon etwas fragwürdigen Spaß. Aber rein technisch betrachtet ist Augmented Reality wohl besser geeignet, als VR.
