Was ist DLUX.io? Das Metaverse von Hive (neue VR und NFT-Plattform auf der Hive-Blockchain)

DLUX ist die Plattform, die 3speak für den Airdrop des LARYNX-Token verwendet.

Ein Grund sich die Plattform einmal näher anzuschauen.

### Was ist DLUX?

DLUX ist eine Sidechain (2nd-Layer-Lösung) auf der Hive Blockchain, die VR-Apps, NFTs und Token (DEX) anbietet. Man kann sich DLUX auch als Alternative zur Hive-Engine vorstellen.

### VR

Eine Besonderheit von DLUX ist, dass man mit dem Open-Source-Framework A-Frame einfache Browser-basierte VR-Experiences erstellen kann. Diese können dann auf DLUX veröffentlicht und upgevotet werden. DLUX als Hive-Frontend für das Metaverse sozusagen.

### NFTs

Ein weiteres Feature von DLUX ist, dass man damit programmatische NFT-Kollektionen ähnliche wie die CryptoPunks oder Punks on Hive erstellen und traden kann. Derzeit gibt es auf DLUX drei derartige Projekte: Hive Folks, Bees (bz), und dlux.

### DEX

Ein weiteres Feature, das an die Hive-Engine erinnert, ist dass man mit DLUX auch Token traden kann.

Allerdings unterstützt die Plattform im Moment nur zwei Token: DLUX (der native Token der Sidechain) und LARYNX (Airdrop Token von 3Speak).

### Fazit

DLUX ist eine ambitionierte Metaverse/NFT/DEX-Plattform, eine Sidechain der Hive Blockchain.

Die Plattform befindet sich im Moment aber eher noch in der Beta/Entwicklungs-Phase und wird außer für den LARYNX-Airdrop noch nicht wirklich genutzt.

Den großen Mehrwert verglichen zur Hive-Engine, der Nummer #1 DeFi/NFT/Token-Plattform auf Hive, sehe ich daher im Moment noch nicht.

Die Möglichkeit, user-generierten VR-Content zu erstellen hat aber Potential, müsste sich aber ebenfalls noch weiterentwickeln, um wirklich nützlich zu werden.

What is DLUX.io? The metaverse of Hive (new VR and NFT platform on the Hive blockchain).

DLUX is the platform that 3speak uses to airdrop the LARYNX token.

A reason to take a closer look at the platform.

### What is DLUX?

DLUX is a sidechain (2nd layer solution) on the Hive Blockchain that offers VR apps, NFTs and tokens (DEX). You can also think of DLUX as an alternative to the Hive-Engine.

### VR

The unique feature of DLUX is that you can create simple browser-based VR experiences using the open source framework A-Frame. These can then be published and upvoted on DLUX. DLUX as a hive front end for the metaverse, so to speak.

### NFTs

Another feature of DLUX is that it can be used to create and trade programmatic NFT collections similar to CryptoPunks or Punks on Hive. Currently, there are three such projects on DLUX: Hive Folks, Bees (bz), and dlux.

### DEX

Another feature reminiscent of the Hive-Egine is that DLUX also lets you trade tokens.

However, the platform only supports two tokens at the moment: DLUX (the native token of the sidechain) and LARYNX (Airdrop token from 3speak).

### Conclusion

DLUX is an ambitious Metaverse/NFT/DEX platform, a sidechain of the Hive Blockchain.

The platform is still in its beta/development phase and is not really used at the moment except for the LARYNX airdrop.

At the moment, I don't see the added value compared to Hive-Engine yet, the #1 DeFi/NFT/token platform on Hive.

However, the ability to create user-generated VR content has potential, but would also need to evolve to become really useful.

It's possible for it to become a metaverse but that might have to wait till VR technology is a bit better. I wonder if it will be trying to fulfill the role of smart contracts and other features that the expanding VR world requires.
