Good day, fellow poetry fans and dear readers from both HIVE and outside of it! For today's poetry post here on my HIVE blog, I decided to share my thirty-sixth overall poem and the thirty-fifth one written in English which is entitled 'A Rainy Day'.

Furthermore, the following poem is part of my very first self-published poetry volume entitled 'Lines of an Abstract World' (initially issued on Amazon way back in late 2018, when I was still a bachelor student at Aalborg University in Aalborg Denmark).

Therefore, without further needless ado, here is the poem:

<center><i>'Outside it’s raining with with heavy splashing drops
And the melancholy within myself seem like a truly destructive force
Preserving uncertain feelings into the cyclone of a grey cause 
The cause of a bitter fear that just arose
<br>
Haven’t quite had the needed time to cheer up lately 
This lonely state seems so real, frankly
That anyone from dozen miles away
Can feel the stormy skies gathering in today
<br>
The grey sky is a cold blanket
With thunders that roar in desperation
And a lightning that explodes into desolation 
Backed by the wind’s morbid temptation
<br>
The mirage of a distant mound 
Keeps the sad eyes looking down 
Waiting for raindrops to fall
On the impatient thirsty ground
<br>
Will it be raining like this until tomorrow?
Will there be no arrow
That sharp and narrow
To seek the way out of this tremendous sorrow?'</i></center>
