Ultra Sound Money: The Gold Standard of Tools For Monitoring Ethereum Tokenomics

When you are living your life at your own place coming across many things related to cryptocurrency and immediately think of a specific tool after coming across some news, data or expand your knowledge in a new way; the tool that comes to your mind has achieved a gold standard of utility. I learned about XEN; a project built on Ethereum turning Ethereum deflationary. This is something HIVE already achieved in the previous year although it does not seem like we would have a deflationary year this time. I suggest following @dalz to keep track of these important HIVE statistics.

# Better Than Sound Money
It is a clever meme. After adding "The Gold Standard" to the title, I felt like I made a bad pun. The Gold Standard when it comes to money used to be "Sound Money". A tool that with "Ultra" in front of the name having the words "The Gold Standard" following it may not be the most cohesive for those looking to meme.

Wordplay aside; we have simple, colorful and well designed UI that will shower you with a great deal of useful information!

### It's Ultra Sound; Not Ultrasound
The website is [ultrasound.money](https://ultrasound.money) The project can also be found on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/ultrasoundmoney) which does share some important statistics about Ethereum from time to time. Having something similar for HIVE could be a good idea IMHO.

### What Happened to XEN
The project is merely few days old at this point. There is over $30 Million in trading volume on Uniswap alone. Price is not doing anything impressive and there is not enough data to do Technical Analysis effectively. I will wait out on XEN.

ATH is $0.00036977 and ATL is $0.00025580 as per @coingecko There are far more interesting projects that are under the radar that is deserving of your investment. HIVE, CUB and POLYCUB are few of them that performed quite well during these bear market times.

I am not sure I like the outlook that tokens should be deflationary. It makes that token a lot less appealing as a currency as people tend to be more fixated on price. What matters is the use case of the token and the technology that it is developing. Of course having inflation too high isn't a good thing so defining a good in-between is tough.

Ethereum is meant to be more of a commodity than a currency. The deflation comes when the network is under high activity. The block producers are rewarded with inflation. What you get is a pendulum that swing between inflation and deflation based on the activity on the blockchain.
