*THE DANGER OF LOW EXPECTATION (AIM)*

 🥑 Acts 3 :2 - *And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, 'whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful', to ask alms of them that entered into the temple.*

Routine is you staying/ building yourself around something you think you can't change (Acts 3:2). When it is all said and done, you end up on the same spot. *When everyday seems the same, you cease to celebrate morning when it comes (Psalm 30:5).* Everyday, they got this lame man to the place of access yet he couldn't get in. *How can you be in a beautiful place but with daily an ugly problem?*
                                                                💍 I almost got the job, I almost got to be loved, I almost got delivered, *but you still end up in the same spot.* Frustration jumps in when you see others get through what you can only get near to. It makes you feel cursed. Why is it me who can't get in while others can? Why is it me almost who gets it everyday while others get it? 
                                                                🤷‍♀​​ *Well, Excuses only comfort incapacity!* This is because it hurts to see somebody, your neighbour come and go in while you remain at the gate. The gate is access, an opportunity. Access *is always a test that produces a portrait of character (Proverbs 18:4).* A test is designed by the continuity of your weaknesses. How can something be a test if you don't feel it? *A test  comes (is designed) to challenge your weakness (2Cori 12:8-9). This is why faith always demands a test!*

Routine has been going through the same with religion. Religion has been colonized/married  by routine.                                                     RELIGION only boosts routine but there is no relationship. But having a relationship with Jesus ceases religion and routine in one's life. R/ship wears out routine. When *you have a r/ship with Jesus, you learn to expect something new everyday (Psalm 118:24, 19:2).* You begin to shift in a new direction of Hope, Faith & Love i.e. you begin to have higher expectations. *Religion is having a r/ship with routine (the church not Jesus).*
                                                                                                                                        🍋 Acts 3:6, Peter & John told him, we have no silver and gold that we would not help you get out of your situation; but such as that we have, we give it to you. In the name of Jesus, arise and walk. They didn't pray about the situation or even sing songs of praise. They just talked to the situation. They addressed it in the name of Jesus of Nazareth. They didn't talk to God about nothing.
