In his small hut, he and his daughter had lived since she was born. His great grand father had built the hut and now it's his.

Before, they were three.

Him, his daughter and the
one they are not allowed to speak of.

The backyard was full of medicinal herbs. 
Some he sold in the town city.

Whenever he and his daughter got sick he would give them some to get better.

He knew everything about  plants because he grew up around them .

*"I don't do it anymore"* he would say to anyone who asked me if he was a healer.

The secret to healing someone was very simple but it takes time to know.

His herbs had never fail him.

Until the gory day.

The one they  can't speak of left them on earth.

None of his herbs worked.

And just like that, the love of his life and mother of his child bade them farewell.

He was a healer but he never healed from his loss.

He was a healer but it was never the same again.

Never able to help anyone since then.
