Buenas noches comunidad de HIVE, hoy les quiero enseñar un pequeño proyecto que realice en mis días de universidad.

Estudiando la carrera de arquitectura muchas veces nos mandaban varios proyectos un poco abstractos que al principio no entendíamos, uno de esos proyectos se trataba de escoger un edificio emblemático de la ciudad de Caracas creado en la década de los 50s y recrear su fachada con una paleta de colores de los años 70s.

Desde que me mandaron esa asignación ya han pasado 7 años y aún conservo el cuadro, para mí fue una bonita esperiencia investigar sobre ese edificio y como podía recrear lo llenándolo de colores, creo que sin dud fue una de las actividades que sin darme cuenta me fueron enamorando un poco más de mi carrera.

Since I was sent that assignment it has been 7 years and I still have the painting, for me it was a nice experience to investigate about that building and how I could recreate it by filling it with colors, I think that without a doubt it was one of the activities that without realizing it made me fall in love a little more with my career.

Para poder pintar el dibujo, lo hice en una cartulina tipo opalina de color blanco, delineando su contorno con un color negro, ya cuando tenía listo el edificio corte su silueta y lo coloque en una cartulina negra, donde previamente le había salpicado pintura al frío de muchos colores para simular fuegos artificiales. Ya para poder conservarlo decidi pintar una pieza de Carrie de color rojo para utilizarla como marco.

In order to paint the drawing, I did it on a white opaline cardboard, outlining its contour with a black color, and when I had the building ready I cut its silhouette and placed it on a black cardboard, where I had previously splashed cold paint of many colors to simulate fireworks. In order to keep it, I decided to paint a piece of Carrie in red to use it as a frame.
