<p>Hola. Verás... Estaba probando algunos juegos MMORPG que ya tienen muchos años para recordar los viejos tiempos. Y me encontré con que la conexión a los servidores de estos juegos era mala.</p>

<p>¿La conexión es inestable? Probablemente. Pero se puede decir que tengo un buen Internet. Así que me puse a configurar para mejorar el rendimiento de la misma.</p>

<p>Antes de empezar he hecho una prueba en la página web https://www.speedtest.net. Para ver si la configuración que voy a hacer supone una mejora.</p>

<p>Lo primero que hay que hacer, como siempre, es abrir la aplicación "Ejecutar".</p>

<p>Sólo tienes que escribir "ejecutar" en el buscador de inicio. Yo sólo escribo "eje" y aparece en "mejor coincidencia". Haz clic y abre la aplicación.</p>

<p>Cuando aparezca la aplicación, escriba el siguiente comando "gpedit.msc" (sin las comillas). A continuación, haga clic en Aceptar.</p>

<p>Aparecerá el editor de directivas de grupo local. Acá vas a hacer lo siguiente. Doble clic en configuración del equipo. </p>

<p>Luego doble clic en "plantillas administrativas".</p>

<p>Haz doble clic en "Red".</p>

<p>Ahora doble clic en "Programador de paquetes QoS".</p>

<p>Perfecto. Haz doble clic en "Limitar ancho de banda reservable". </p>

<p>Te aparecerá una nueva ventana de la siguiente manera.</p>

<p>Acá de por si nos indica que de forma predeterminada, el programador de paquetes limita el sistema al 80 por ciento del ancho de banda de una conexión.</p>

<p>Vamos a cambiar esto tildando la opción "Habilitada" y colocando "0" en límite de ancho de banda (%). Tal como muestra la imagen de abajo.</p>

<p>Le damos "Aplicar", luego "Aceptar" y listo. Vamos a testear el internet ahora.</p>

<p>Hay una mejora, lo cual es estupendo. Los juegos eran más estables que antes y pude disfrutar de mis partidas online.</p>

<p>Esta información puede resultarle útil. El sistema operativo limita el ancho de banda por defecto. Se puede configurar según el caso. Como es en mi ejemplo.</p>

<p>Hi. You see... I was testing some MMORPG games that are already many years old to remember the old days. And I found that the connection to the servers of these games was bad.</p>

<p>Is the connection unstable? Probably. But you can tell I have good Internet. So I set about configuring it to improve its performance of it.</p>

<p>Before starting I have made a test on the website https://www.speedtest.net. To see if the configuration I am going to make is an improvement.</p>

<p>The first thing to do, as always, is to open the "Run" application.</p>

<p>When the application appears, type the following command "gpedit.msc" (without the quotes). Then click OK.</p>

<p>The local group policy editor will appear. Here you do the following. Double-click on Computer Configuration. </p>

<p>Perfect. Double-click on "Limit reservable bandwidth". </p>

<p>Here by default, the packet scheduler limits the system to 80 percent of the bandwidth of a connection.</p>

<p>Let's change this by checking the "Enabled" option and setting "0" in bandwidth limit (%). As shown in the image below.</p>

<p>We click "Apply", then "Accept" and that's it. We are going to test the internet now.</p>

<p>There is an improvement, which is great. The games were more stable than before and I was able to enjoy my online games.</p>

<p>You may find this information useful. The operating system limits the bandwidth by default. This can be configured according to the case. As it is in my example.</p>

Que bueno que puedas contar con un servicio de Fibra óptica, es la mejor opción que se puede tener. Yo lastimosamente lo más que llegó es a 8 mb de velocidad y como mejor 9. Cómo sabemos tampoco es el servicio de CANTV es de lo mejor que se pueda tener, es muy inestable para jugar. Aún así lo intento.

Muy buen tutorial hermano, gracias por compartilo con nosotros en la comunidad, esta clase de contenidos siempre me ha gustado y llamado la atención.

Si, ya llevo mucho tiempo con este servicio de internet. Que podría decir que  así como la mejor empresa que hay en mi cuidad. Uno de los logros que no había tomado en cuenta tan conscientemente.

Creo que para ver series online se puede complementar con escoger el servidor DNS más estable de todos a propósito.

 Ya que también por defecto el sistema escoge uno al azar según sea el caso. Y por eso puede que se peguen los vídeos en tu navegador. Estaría bueno explicarlo en alguna ocasión.

No tienes gpedit.msc instalado en tu Windows. Debe ser una versión lite o modificada. Tiene solución. Debes Habilitar e instalar gpedit.msc.
