Bu yazı içeriğinde gerek filozofların ürettiği, gerek yazarların ürettiği, gerek toplumun kendi kendine anonim olarak oluşturduğu mottolardan birini seçip içini – dışını irdeleyeceğiz. Bu konunun amacı biraz genel kültür bilgisi irdelerken, biraz da beşinci viteste yaşadığımız hayatı birinci vitese alarak düşünmeye zaman ayırmak olacaktır. Günün Mottosu serisine ilk olarak tasavvuftan çıkan, ama tam olarak kimin söylediği bilinmeyen ''İrfan gönül almaktır seferin bitmeden'' mottosuyla başlayacağız.

Hayatımız boyunca sürekli olarak irili-ufaklı tartışmalar içerisinde buluruz kendimizi. Kavganın hararetine kendimizi kaptırmışken, ağzımızdan çıkan sözcüler birer kurşun gibi karşımızdaki insana teker teker saplanır. Belki tartıştığımız insanın umurunda olmadığını düşünürüz fakat evrenin en kötü insanı bile duyduğu her bir kelimeyi bilinçaltına ister istemez işlemek zorunda kalır. O an umurunda olmasa da ileriki yaşamında vereceği kararları olumlu veya olumsuz şekilde yönlendirmiş olabilirsiniz. Haksız taraf olduğumuzda ne yapmamız konusunda uzun uzadıya tartışmaya gerek yok. Herkes haksız olduğunda özür dilemesini veya bir şekilde gönül alması gerektiğini bilir. Uygulayıp uygulamamak insana bağlı olsa da evrensel olarak kabul görmüş durum budur. Bugünün mottosuyla dikkat çekmek istediğim konu biraz farklı. Haklı olduğumuz durumlarda ne yapmalıyız ? Karşımızdakini tamamen silmeli mi yoksa ondan bir şeyler mi beklemeliyiz ?
Bugünün mottosu hakkında biraz araştırma yaptığımda Ömer Hayyam'ın nasihatı olduğu karşıma çıktı. Daha önce de belirttiğim gibi tam olarak kimden çıktığı belli değildir fakat Ömer Hayyam gibi bir tasavvufçuya ait olduğu kesindir. Bazı kaynaklar Ömer Hayyam'ın İslam öğretilerinden kendini tamamen kopardığı yönünde eleştirilerde bulunur. Fakat Hayyam, var olan kalıplaşmış anlayıştan belki de yobazlaşmış İslam'dan kendini soyutlamıştır. Şiirlerine baktığımız zaman Tasavvuf öğretileri içerdiğini görmekteyiz. Bu motto kime ait olursa olsun Tasavvuf öğretisi ile birebir eşleşmektedir. Bunu özellikle irdelememin sebebi az önce bahsettiğim konuya bir cevap niteliğindedir. Tasavvufçular bizlere kötülük edenlere bile bir adım atmamız gerektiğini söyler. Haklı durumda olup olmadığımız önemli değildir. Dünya içerisinde geçireceğimiz zaman çok kısıtlıdır. Hatta tahmin ettiğimizden bile kısıtlı olabilir. Önemli olan bu kısıtlı zaman içerisinde mümkün olduğunca kimseyle gönül bağını koparmamaktır. Evrende saf kötülük diye bir şey yoktur. İnsanların doğdukları andan beri yaşadıkları veya öğrendikleri onları şekillendirir. Kötülük yapan insanın birebir aynı hayatına sahip olsanız aynı şeyi yapmaz mıydınız? Bu durumda bizi kötülük yapmaktan alıkoyan tek şey farklı bir yaşanmışlığa sahip olmamızdır. O zaman kötülüklere karşı nefret beslemek ne kadar doğrudur? Açlıktan ölmek üzere olan bir insana hırsızlık yaptığı için kızmak mantıklı mıdır? Tabii ki bir hırsızı göz göre göre evimizde barındırmak saflıktır. Fakat hırsızlık yaptığında onu aşağılayıp tartaklamak yerine imkanımız varsa yardım etmek yoksa da usulünce kendini kötü hissettirmeden ondan uzaklaşmak daha doğru değil midir? Tasavvufçular bu yüzden asıl irfanın, seferimiz bitmeden gönül almak olduğunu savunurlar. Kimsede saf kötülüğün bulunmadığını, her eylemin bir sebebi olduğunu bu yüzden de ne olursa olsun sevdiklerimizin gönlünü almamızı veya tanımadığımız insanların kalplerini kırmamamızı söylerler. Onların ağızlardan tekrar etmek gerekirse: İrfan, gönül almaktır seferin bitmeden...

Günümüz mottosunda anlattıklarım tasavvuf düşüncesine aittir. Onların ağzından size aktardığım için kendi görüşüm değildir. Bu görüşe hem katılıp hem katılmadığım yanlar vardır. Ayrıca tasavvuf inancına da mensup değilim. Ama şundan eminim ki ne yaşanırsa yaşansın gönül bağımızı kopardığımız sevdiklerimiz, her zaman gözümüzün arkada kalmasına sebep olacaktır.
