**Ma cos'è il trading?**
In parole semplici, trading significa comprare o vendere valute allo scopo di trarre un profitto grazie alla variazione di valore (quotazione/prezzo) entro un certo periodo di tempo.
**IMPORTANTE:** La prima cosa da sapere è la differenza tra "Investitore" e "Trader".
Gli **Investitori** spendono il loro denaro per ottenere un profitto in un orizzonte temporale di medio-lungo termine (solitamente dai 6 ai 12 mesi) perchè ritengono che la valuta in cui hanno investito crescerà in maniera significativa dopo un certo periodo di tempo in quanto la tecnologia, le strategie e le politiche di marketing, l'importanza e la diffusione di notizie positive potrebbero determinare un sensibile incremento di prezzo stabile nel tempo.
Facendo un esempio "reale", chi ha investito in Ethereum lo scorso anno e lo ha tenuto nel proprio wallet sino ad ora, ha guadagnato circa il 1900% in più rispetto all'investimento effettuato!
Invece, l'azione di trading, seppur avendo lo stesso scopo di trarre un profitto, è decisamente differente! I **Traders** investono i loro capitali per realizzare un profitto nel breve termine (in alcuni casi entro lo stesso giorno in cui effettuano le loro operazioni). Tecnicamente i traders acquistano una o più valute quando esse attraversano momenti di dip (per esempio quando toccano la quotazione giornaliera o settimanale più bassa rispetto ad un trend mediamente positivo), con la speranza che il valore risalirà fino alla quotazione giornaliera più alta entro qualche ora. La situazione ideale per ciascun trader è realizzare un buon profitto in 2-3 ore, cosi da poter reinvestire il denaro guadagnato per altre transazioni. La regola più importante per i trader è: **BUY LOW AND SELL HIGH!** (COMPRA A POCO PREZZO E VENDI A PREZZO ELEVATO)!

Personalmente utilizzo **Bittrex**. Per accedere al servizio è necessario, come al solito, registrarsi e settare i propri dati (Email, Password e modalità di protezione – per esempio una password forte o un sistema di Autenticazione a 2 Fattori).
All'interno delle piattaforme di trading sarà possibile scambiare differenti valute: il sito vi mostrerà il trend delle criptomonete, la variazione percentuale rispetto alle ultime 24 ore, le cd. "candlestick" (verdi o rossi) e gli order book. Cerchiamo di chiarire questi concetti.
- Una **candlestick** mostra il trend della valuta: se è verde significa che il valore sta crescendo, altrimenti il rosso rappresenta una quotazione decrescente. Un trader esperto è abile nell'analizzare i trend di breve durata e sa quando è il momento giusto per acquistare (solitamente quando la candlestick è in rosso);
- **L'order book** mostra quante persone hanno intenzione di acquistare (ed a quale quotazione) e quanti hanno intenzione di vendere la valuta. La forma del "muro" è davvero utile per capire in che direzione il prezzo potrebbe andare. Per esempio, se il muro mostra che la sezione dei potenziali acquirenti (sezione in verde) è più alta e densa rispetto a quella dei potenziali venditori (sezione rossa), ciò potrebbe presagire un prossimo aumento di prezzo. **E' come la famosa legge della Domanda e dell'Offerta.**
Maggiore domanda = il prezzo va su - Scarsa Domanda = il prezzo va giù, in quanto i venditori potrebbero essere preda della paura per una possibile ed ulteriore perdita di valore delle proprie valute.
Un'importante funzione inclusa nelle piattaforme di trading è senza dubbio il **Buy/Sell Stop**, ovvero la possibilità di acquistare o vendere una criptomoneta ad un prezzo prestabilito. Per esempio, se avessi acquistato 10 NEO per 0,00500000 BTC/ciascuno e penso che il loro valore salirà fino a 0,00540000 BTC, potrei impostare la vendita automatica dei miei NEO a quel prezzo; se dovesse verificarsi l'aumento di valore sperato guadagnerei il mio profitto senza la necessità di stare di fronte al computer a controllare ogni secondo il prezzo di NEO!
**Regole da osservare:**
- **Regola 1**: Il trading, se fatto in maniera istintiva oppure senza adeguata informazione, può essere **un’OPERAZIONE DAVVERO RISCHIOSA** e farvi perdere molti soldi. Quindi, prima di acquistare o vendere una criptovaluta, analizzatene l’andamento, se esiste una certa stabilità nell’arco dell’ultimo periodo e non sia soggetta a volatilità notevole (pump and dump);
- **Regola 2**: Solitamente non è consigliabile acquistare criptovalute nel momento in cui toccano il loro massimo valore in un periodo di tempo piuttosto ristretto (es. 1-2 ore) perché potrebbe celarsi una semplice manovra speculativa, cercate piuttosto di capire perché il prezzo sale oppure scende prendendo informazioni sul web;
- **Regola 3**: Se il vostro investimento non si rivela azzeccato nel breve periodo **NON PERDETE LA CALMA** e non entrate in situazioni di cd. panic sell: per ciascuna criptovaluta arriva con cadenza regolare un giorno in cui avrà un rialzo che vi permetterà, quantomeno, di riprendere ciò che avete investito. E’ inutile acquistare a 100 per poi rivendere a 80: è più saggio attendere che il prezzo si avvicini più possibile a 100 per ridurre al massimo le perdite;
- **Regola 4**: Nel trading assisterete, spesso, a situazioni alquanto inspiegabili. Ciò avviene solitamente per le criptovalute che non hanno un market cap elevato, quindi se vedete che una moneta acquista il 100% di guadagno in un solo giorno FATE
ATTENZIONE, solo i più esperti riescono a “cavalcare l’onda” del **PUMP AND DUMP** (es. il caso di ChainCoin);
