Hace poco un amigo @luismi al que conocí acá en steemit me comentó sobre la física cuántica y el control de nuestras vidas y en la conversación yo le comentaba que lo más cercano que yo había llegado a conceptos del control pleno era seguir estudios de la psicoterapia con mindfulness para lograr el control de la [amigdala cerebral](https://psicologiaymente.net/neurociencias/amigdala-cerebral#!) (glándula responsable de las emociones y los patrones de respuesta asociadas a ellas y de otras cosillas complejas como nuestra memoria) en pacientes con fibromialgia. Y me he dedicado desde entonces a leer más sobre el mindfulness, y un poco sobre la física cuántica a la que aún no le he llegado como para hablarles con propiedad jeje.
La verdad en los últimos años hemos oído sobre el Mindfulness y de cómo podemos mejorar nuestras vidas y entorno en general a través del Mindfulness. Pero antes de entrar en detalles es importante poder definir y abordar el concepto de manera sencilla.
La traducción que se le ha dado en español es "Conciencia Plena", y déjenme decirles que la técnica para lograr la "Conciencia Plena" no es nada nueva data de más de 2500 años. Se la debemos a los budistas y es una [técnica de practica oriental](http://www.harmonia.la/mente/que_es_el_mindfulness_de_donde_viene_y_por_que_se_volvio_tan_popular) que en el occidente hace pocos años para acá se ha hecho popular. El "mindfulness" palabra original "sati" en el budismo es considerado por los orientales como la vía para lograr un estado de liberación o integración con la realidad, partiendo de la observación para lograr los estados plenos de conciencia y de que la concentración es el primer paso para purificar nuestra mente.
En el occidente primeros estudios clínicos de psicoterapia usando mindfulness para tratar el estress datan de 1979 a manos de investigadores de la Universidad de Massachusetts. A partir de allí hasta nuestros días, se han realizado diversos estudios de la aplicación de terapias usando los principios del Mindfulness para el tratamiento psicoterapéutico. Un [estudio empírico](https://s3.amazonaws.com/academia.edu.documents/40868644/Revista_de_Mindfulness_y_Psicoterapia.pdf?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAIWOWYYGZ2Y53UL3A&Expires=1506104054&Signature=DrYl8uJNrUpZAOGjzyEpGp6bL44%3D&response-content-disposition=inline%3B%20filename%3DRevista_de_Mindfulness_y_Psicoterapia.pdf#page=79) detalla ésta y otras investigaciones y resultados no sólo en pacientes con estrés y ansiedad, sino en otras patologías como transtornos alimentarios, de personalidad, depresión, ansiedad, psicosis, psicoterapia en general, dólor crónico, entre otras.
Visto de esta forma, podemos pensar que resulta de utilidad el conocer un poco más sobre como aplicar sus principios del Mindfullnes en nuestro día a día, por lo general lleno de estress, ansiedad, miedos, depresión, ... Así que en una próxima entrega, les hablaré sobre los principios del Mindfulness o "Conciencia Plena". Ya luego veremos técnicas sencillas para su aplicación.
