Life after death is a very controversial and delicate subject, as some people believe in it and others ignore it completely. But regardless of belief, the right thing to do is to live as if this were the only life we have.
However, I'm sure that you who are reading this post have the feeling that you are eternal, or at least deep down you have that feeling. Why do people build wealth and accumulate assets? And why don't human beings despair knowing that one day they will die?
Some may say that they build wealth to have a better life. Others to help other people by creating jobs and turning the economy around. Others have wealth and end up helping others with philanthropic projects, but deep down, accumulating wealth was because you felt immortal.
This feeling is common in many people, but it can disappear as we get older or when we suffer a serious illness. In these situations, perhaps some people seek some scientific or religious method in the hope of living longer.
Do you know the story of James Bedford? He was a professor of psychology at the University of California and, at the age of 73, he was terminally ill with kidney cancer. He became the first man to be cryopreserved, i.e. frozen after death in the hope of being resurrected by science in the future, in order to be cured of his illness and live a little longer.

Alguns podem dizer que construem riqueza para ter uma vida melhor. Outros para ajudar outras pessoas gerando emprego e girando a economia. Outras possuem riquezas e acabam ajudando o próximo com projetos de filantrópia, mas no fundo o acumular riqueza foi porque você se sentia imortal.
Esse sentimento é comum em vários individuos, mas ele pode desaparecer quando a velhice vai chegando ou quando somos acometidos por alguma doença grave. Nestas situações, talvez alguns busquem algum metodo científico ou religioso, na esperença de viverem mais.

No exato momento, se eu renascesse em outro corpo, começando uma nova vida do zero, caso lembrasse das memórias passada isso seria muito triste. Pois, sou muito feliz com a vida que tenho, apesar das dificuldades que passamos. Tenho uma família abençoada, uma esposa e companheira que esta comigo em todos os momentos e alguns amigos em que posso contar. Perder tudo isso seria muito triste!
Mas, se eu podesse reencarnar em um país rico e desenvolvido cheio de oportunidades e com alta qualidade de vida. Onde as pessoas se preocupam com o meio ambiente e não jogam lixo nas ruas. Nascer em um país com clima frio com a finlândia ou a Islândia seria bem legal, pois teria a sensação de neve, já que vivo no Brasil, um país tropical.
Muitos podem amar a ideia de reencarnar, pois assim desejariam nascer em uma família rica, ou nascer com atributos físicos melhores, ou ainda nascer da forma e gênero que desejam. Pois, a vida que possuem atualmente não é boa o sufiente.
