``Unprotected`` is a ruleset in Splinterlands battles in which all armor is removed from monsters and one cannot gain armor.

## **Battle Ruleset**:

There were three rulesets in this battle which were **` Silenced Summoners, Equal Opportunity, and Unprotected`**. The allowed mana cap was **`28`** and all splinter summoners were active in this battle except Fire Splinter.

## Battle Summoner
<center>

I choose **`QUIX THE DEVIOUS`** as a summoner for this battle, which is a Chaos Legion edition Legendary Dragon Splinter Summoner. It costs ``4`` mana and has two abilities(-1 range and -1 speed). I used this summoner because of the battle ruleset ``Silenced Summoners`` and I will be able to choose from the Dragon Splinter monsters. Under this summoner, I choose the Earth Splinter monsters in this battle. I have upgraded it to level 2 and under this summoner, I can use monsters of up to level 5 common cards.
## 1. MYCELIC MORPHOID:

In the first position, I used **``MYCELIC MORPHOID``** which is a Chaos Legion edition common melee attack monster from the Earth Splinter. It costs 1 mana, does -1 melee attacks, and has no ability at level 1. I have got it at level 3 from the pack's opening in which it gains one ability Thorns. I used it in the first place because of its ``Thorns`` ability. I have got it at level 3 in the gold foiled version and it works fine for me.
## 2. VENARI KNIFER:

In the second position, I used **``VENARI KNIFER``** which is also a common Chaos Legion edition Melee attack monster from the Earth Splinter. It costs 6 mana, has 4 speed, and gives -2 melee along with the Thorns ability at level 1. I used it in the second position because of its Thorns ability. Currently, I have this monster at level 1 and soon I will upgrade it to higher levels.
## 3. GRUND:

In the third position, I used **``GRUND``** which is an Epic Chaos Legion edition melee attack monster from the Earth splinter. It costs 10 mana, does a -3 melee attack, and has a ``Double Strike`` ability at level 1. I used it in the third position because of its double-strike ability. Currently, I have one bcx of it, and it works very well for me whenever I use it in my battles.
## 4. VENARI MARKSRAT:

In the fourth position, I used **``VENARI MARKSRAT``** which is also a reward edition rare range attack monster from the Neutral Splinter. It costs 3 mana, gives -1 range damage, and has Martyr ability at level 1. I used it in the fourth position because of its Martyr ability so if it dies it will increase the stats of the monsters in the right and left of it. I got it at level 2 from the focus rewards in the gold foil version and nowadays I mostly use it in my battles.
## 5. BROWNIE:

In the fifth position, I used the **BROWNIE** which is also a reward edition an Epic melee attack monster from the Earth Splinter. It costs **`1`** mana, does -1 melee attack, and has a Swiftness ability at level 1. I used it in this battle because of its Swiftness ability which will increase the speed of all friendly monsters. Currently, I have this monster at level 1 and it works fine for me.
## 6. EARTH ELEMENTAL:

In the last position, I used **``EARTH ELEMENTAL``** which is a beta edition rare range attack monster from the Earth Splinter. I used it in the last position because of its healing ability and to give -2 range damage. Also when It gets damaged it will recover its health. I mostly use it in my battles whenever I am playing with the Earth Splinter. I have upgraded it to level 4 in which its range damage increases from 1 to 2 and works very well for me in all battles, especially in low mana battles.

| body | "Kelvin arrived at the river as usual late in the evening to wash himself, he was contracted to clear a farmland very close to the big river in the village. Whenever he arrived there, Kelvin always ensured that he gathered the dirt people left behind at the river and would dispose them properly.
He sat at the river bank on that fateful day feeling very tired but there was no time to rest because his home was a long place away from the river. He was contemplating on things to get for his grandmother who he lived with when he saw a beautiful lady strolling at the bank of the river as well.

She was beautiful and her physique melted his heart. "She is not my class, she must be the daughter of one of the wealthy people in this village," Kelvin thought as he watched the beautiful lady walk up and down the river bank.
He washed himself as the sun was setting and picked up the dirt after.
Kelvin was about to leave when the beautiful lady approached him.
"Hi," She greeted and Kelvin replied to her.
"I saw you picking dirt here, are you hired to do that?" She asked.
"No, I just do it because it was the right thing to do," Kelvin replied and smiled.
"Hmmm, that's thoughtful of you. Anyway, my name is Amoke. I am from a distant land but always come to play here once in a while," She introduced herself and Kelvin did the same.
They chatted about a few things and got to know about eachother.
"Miss Amoke, please I have to go now. Where do you stay so that I can see you before going my way?" Kelvin asked.
"Don't worry about me, you can go home. My place isn't far from here," she replied.
Kelvin went home and wouldn't stop thinking about Amoke. "She is a sweet soul, very calm and beautiful," he whispered as he walked through the small village path to his home.
Amoke and Kelvin met every day at the river bank, their friendship became stronger and Kelvin started growing feelings towards her.
"My job ends here tomorrow but I still want to continue seeing you," Kelvin informed Amoke as he was about to leave the river bank.
"You won't need to see me because I am also returning to where I came from very soon," she replied.
"Okay, let me know where you live so that I can always visit you before you leave," He replied.
"There is no need, I will miss you as well. Our paths will cross again someday." Amoke replied
Kelvin felt sad and wished Amoke could stay a bit longer. He wouldn't give up the chance of seeing her the next day so he pretended to have left and quickly hide behind the tree just to see which direction Amoke would go through so that he could secretly follow her home.

Kelvin rushed to see what happened and the only thing he saw was a big fish tail swimming away. He was terrified and quickly ran away hoping that he was dreaming.
The next day, Amoke arrived at the river hoping to see Kelvin for the last time but he didn't show up so she got worried and decided to visit him.
She arrived at his house and Kelvin was terrified to see her.
"Please don't hurt me, I didn't see anything yesterday," Kelvin shivered and Amoke immediately realized that Kelvin had seen her yesterday.
"So saw me yesterday?" She asked and Kelvin replied, "Yes".
"It is not what you think, I just wanted to know where you live," he continued.
"You have seen my secret and you have to protect it," Amoke said authoritatively.
"I will, I promise," Kelvin replied.
"I didn't know that Mermaids exist," Kelvin said to Amoke while they were chatting a few days later.
"We do but humans always hunt us so we had to his but you are a good man. I and my sibling always watch you clean the river, we admire you a lot," She replied.
Their friendship lasted for decades as Kelvin kept his promises about hiding Amoke's identity. In return, Amoke blessed him with lots of riches.
