Here is my first post here, I hope I am welcome.
I want to share my thoughts on the prompt for this week.
Can one own too many houses and 11 plants?
I would say it depends on the individual preference. Some persons are privileged while some are not.
As it is now with me, I don't have many houseplants but the ones I have are beautiful and beneficial all the same.
Plants are beautiful and they spread their beauty everywhere you see them with little effort. It's just like the sun, the sun does not exert much effort in shining, so plants do not exert much effort in being beautiful.
Plants for me are a must in my surroundings as I grew up among plants when I lived with my grandma in the village. She taught me the usefulness of some plants and also how to identify those with harmful tendencies.
Let me introduce you to my plants and where they are found...,..
**This is the henna plant**
This plant commonly called laali plant in Nigeria is found in my backyard. It's very useful in cosmetology as it is used during certain religious festivals and weddings to make beautiful tattoo decorations of the hands and feet. This plant is also good for treating hair and skin infections plus other health challenges like malaria. I think sitting next to this plant helps me not to fall sick easily.

That's what I like to call it due to its benefits in treating some baby skin infections. This plant is found in front of my house where it is accessible by mothers who might need it. Sometimes during the cool of the day after work, I sit outside and talk to my neighbours while enjoying the beautiful view of the plants.

As you all can see my plants are not much but they are so so beautiful that they charm the eyes and calm the soul.
I would not want it any other way. If I had too many houseplants, I would find it difficult to maintain them but the ones I have now received are easily maintained by me, whenever I am less busy or on the weekends.
The best part of my plants is that they help me relax. It's like whenever I sit under their shade or beside any of them, I feel all my stress dissipating.
I am glad I own some house plants that are not too much stress for me.
