Well letās get started. During my childhood, Iāve two different funny health advice which up till date I canāt tell if itās true or just a fallacy. And Iām happy to share with the expectation of getting responses that will clear my doubt.
So, one of the advice was when I was still bed wetting also known nighttime incontinence or nocturnal enuresis. I believe if you donāt understand the first word, you will definitely understand the second or third. So, one faithful day a man was passing towards our house, shouting at the top of his voice proclaiming different kinds of sicknesses which he has the cure or solution to. Suddenly he mentioned bedwetting and my mom was so interested that she had to call him back to find out more. I was there when the whole conversation was going on and my mom who couldnāt cover my shame decided to introduce me to the man as the bedwetter, lol I was embarrassed but what else can I do, I was just a child and she is my mom.

Instantly the man brought out a cream from his bag, convincing me that with the cream I will not urinate on the bed again even if I drink 25 liters of water before going to bed. All I needed to do was to rub it on the forehead of my pinpin (penis) every night before I sleep.Funny enough because my mom was tired of my washing my clothes every morning she decided to buy the cream from the man. Fortunately for me when my dad returned she told him about the cream she bought and he asked her some questions like; Didnāt you bedwet when you were a child? What if he uses the cream and the effect turns negative? What would be your reaction? She could not respond to any of those questions and he ordered that the cream be thrown away immediately and that was how I was saved.
The second incident was when my mom took me to a village hospital when we went to the village because I was having a drop of blood after urinating. After several consultations and running several tests, the doctor advised that I should take a lot of sugarcane and also mention other things I needed to avoid. Fortunately I love sugarcane a lot and that made me so happy because I know my mom will do just that. I almost consumed all the sugarcane in that village before leaving.
That was my experience on the funniest advice Iāve received when I was coming up. So please feel free to tell me if any of that advice is true or just a fallacy.
