There is a common saying that goes, you can't give what you don't have. This is actually true when I quickly saw the theme for this last edition. The big question that keeps resonating in my heart is can a perfect baby be found? Can a frail human being boost of having a perfect baby? Who is qualified to have a perfect baby? Well I'm quite sure that there are religious and cultural ties that may dispute this. As for me,i haven't seen any one.
Some parents know how weak they are but would like to place more demands on their children as if when they were like them, they were perfect.
Its important that parents should work on themselves to ensure that all area of weaknesses are dealth with in securing a better thing for their children. It's not bad for a parent to be positive about their children's development in terms of good and sought after genes but it would be unethical if such parents doesn't have a trace of godly virtues in them.

For proactive parents if had the opportunity to modify the genes of their babies to me wouldn't be an achievement or improvement in any side because of the limitations that surrounds us as humans. I am quite sure some people are even regretting why they came from a particular family or the other while others seems to complain greatly about certain traits exhibited by their children. They desire them to have profound genes like being fair in complexion, tall whereas they are short ooooo. They expect the child to be outspoken, intelligent, snart etc but in the real sense the parents don't have any trace of such. One of the things that sparks that kind of competition and strong desire amongst parents. There are trending kind of attributes that pushes parents to engage in this mindset which is unethical.
Parents must realized that children are precious gifts from the lord and every child was created according to the nature of the purposes. Permit me to say that if you're short, this synchronized with the assignment God has concerning you. Modification of any gene wouldn't save any matter. If the godly traits you are looking for is not part of the genes found in the parents then no way the child would Carry anothe different one. Don't put too much expectations on the child.

Potential parents would like to also modify the special abilities in their children like talent, creativity etc so that they would be perfect as they wished. For instance because the child of another parent is a footballer or medical doctor the parents would like their own children too to start behaving like that so that they would be perfect and presentable. This kind of attempt won't be ok because that might not be the destiny and plan of God for such child. You can remove traces of what you don't have so that they would turn out to the exact thing you want.
If you expect any perfect baby then ensure that you as the parents are also perfect too lacking nothing. You only pass on what you have. Let see your comments perhaps i didn't understand the question very well i need clarification.
