This is what I was talking about yesterday or the day before, you kind of need to create little projects yourself using these brand new concepts to truly figure out how they work. It's super hard, and slows down progress substantially, but it does allow you to get each new thing solid in your brain before you move on. All of this is extremely complicated, and in my own experience there seems to be a flow on effect of misunderstanding... in that, if you don't understand something but move on, then you won't understand the next bit that relied on the previous bit, etc etc.
