Oh yes, omit the bacon. I tried to find a vegan recipe for quiche, but I have to admit I am not familiar with all the ingredients. I made a very delicious salad today, and I looked at my local shop for vegan Feta cheese, and I was shocked at the price. Vegan food in my country (South Africa) is still very very expensive. It is sad, and I also think a lot of our vegan foods are mass produces. I am trying to get away from mass-produced food and food that comes in plastic. But it is so hard, it sometimes feels like life and everything is against you! But every small part helps.
