I got an invoice, regarding this formalities everything was fine. The only problem really was that it was told to me that the only possibility to attend the meetups would be through registering first through a paid workshop.

@solymi I used @schmidi referral and joined ecency. We only had a short talk at Block & Wine and he did not mention the workshop. 

Reason I agreed to take the workshop: When I had asked to HiveP at Block & Wine how can I join the hive meetup to learn more on hive and blogging. I was told that the hive meetup is for socializing rather than discussing technicals and it is better to take the workshop to get exposure to the community.

Because of the above explanation, I thought perhaps every new-comer has to take workshop so that they do not bother others of beginner questions at the hive meetup.

My experience still holds true.

So then he went to @egency or Hive onboard. I don't know but he had already the account when he came to the workshop. You can see that in his @cryptopi314 history.

BDW For this screenshot I had to do deep research I went to @peakd Aktivities and srcolled sscrolled down until the end. God thanks this account is new... have to sleep guys would be nice if you do your own research.

I can guess the answer, but I would like to see this clarified, so may i ask about who told you so? 
Any information about who told the others to do so, too?
