You're right and I didn't think about this. I think people automatically feels that good posts will have good views and any post with gold views will be quality. I think on web2, any post with views is considered quality. I think it still boils down on the fact that individual and users needs to build their following to get traction, just like it'll equally be impossible to get a lot of views on a new account on let's say YouTube.
