"A cell has a lock, and the virus has a key [to enter and infect the cell], But quercetin puts glue in the lock"

“[Quercetin] costs peanuts compared to the antivirals that are on the market, which cost sometimes $1000 [per] shot,” Chrétien said. “Two months ago, you could have a one day treatment [of over-the-counter quercetin] for two dollars.”

going threw the process, bacteria & yeast both alter the process in so many ways, its almost impossible to clearly understand what is going on.

i dont trust plant, vitamin or medical sources, specifically if the supply chain is broken, we need the manufacturing process.

..

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6928927/

flavonols and flavones in tea are mainly found as glycosides, and their types and compositions vary with tea type and cultivar [2,3]. Aglycones of flavonols such as kaempferol, myricetin, and quercetin as well as their glycosides have comparable or higher antioxidant capacities than that of vitamin C.

Quercetin 4-glycoside is catabolized through ring fission by intestinal bacteria into phenolic acids, such as 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid, which has higher biological activities, such as antioxidant effects, than its parent molecule.

Furthermore, it has been reported that a relatively large portion of ingested rutin remains intact in the ileal fluid and that rutin metabolism occurs mainly via microbial biotransformation in the large intestine.

..

The biosynthesis of kaempferol occurs in four major steps:

1) Phenylalanine is converted into 4-coumaroyl-CoA.

2) 4-coumaroyl-CoA combines with three molecules of malonyl-coA to form naringenin chalcone (tetrahydroxychalcone) through the action of the enzyme chalcone synthase.

3) Naringenin chalcone is converted to naringenin and then a hydroxyl group is added to form dihydrokaempferol.

4) Dihydrokaempferol has a double bond introduced into it to form kaempferol.

The amino acid phenylalanine is formed from the Shikimate pathway, which is the pathway that plants use in order to make aromatic amino acids. This pathway is located in the plant plastid, and is the entry to the biosynthesis of phenylpropanoids.

The phenylpropanoid pathway is the pathway that converts phenylalanine into tetrahydroxychalcone.

Flavonols, including kaempferol, are products of this pathway.

Quinine and chloroquine poisoning are characterized by severe cardiovascular toxicity resulting from sodium and potassium channel blockade, leading to hypotension, shock, arrhythmias and cardiac arrest.

Arrhythmias are best treated by correction of hypoxia and electrolyte disturbances, and sodium bicarbonate to correct l metabolic acidosis.

Hypokalaemia resulting from intracellular potassium transfer is closely related to severity of chloroquine poisoning and should be corrected cautiously.

Epinephrine (Adrenaline) is the vasopressor of choice in chloroquine poisoning.

spores make me think much smaller then parent host, small like like exosome mycoplasma or virus, potentially avain or airborn.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsporidia

Microsporidia are a group of spore-forming unicellular parasites. They were once considered protozoans or protists, but are now known to be fungi, or a sister group to fungi.

Microsporidia have the smallest known (nuclear) eukaryotic genomes. The parasitic lifestyle of microsporidia has led to a loss of many mitochondrial and Golgi genes, and even their ribosomal RNAs are reduced in size compared with those of most eukaryotes.

Currently known microsporidial genomes are 2.5 to 11.6 Mb in size, encoding from 1,848 to 3,266 proteins which is in the same range as many bacteria.

(same size as bacteria, might be misidentified as bacteria?)

Evasion of host defences

A number of obligate intracellular parasites have evolved mechanisms for evading their hosts' cellular defences, including the ability to survive in distinct cellular compartments.

One of the mechanisms that hosts employ in their attempt to reduce the replication and spread of pathogens is apoptosis (programmed cell death).

Some obligate parasites have developed ways to suppress this phenomenon, for example Toxoplasma gondii although the mechanism is not yet fully understood.

Genitalium is flask-shaped (about 300 - 600 nm)

Pneumoniae is more elongated (about 100 - 1000 nm).

Hundreds of mycoplasma species infect animals. Virus range in size from about 20 to 400 nanometres in diameter.

Mycoplasma is bigger than Virus.
