Even if the price of STEEM were to go up to $10, that would just make my vote worth more on the platform. Why would I want to not be able to spread that around others that may need it.</p>\n<p>If the price goes up and everyone just continues to upvote as opposed to powering down and cashing out, it will help everyone on the platform. </p>\n<p>Here is a great example. You know those big upvotes that everyone is fighting for on musing.io? Imagine what they would be if the price of Steem were $10 or more. How crappy would it be if the person delegating to musing.io decided to power down and cash out if the prices got that high. </p>\n<p>If you believe in the platform your best bet is to continue using it the way you always do as the price goes up and you start earning more.
