I have it as my main OS there and I find that there are less distractions for me, when I use it for work. </p>\n<p>It's far better suited as a developer environment as well, dependencies can usually be installed by entering a single command in the Terminal, while on Windows you'd have to install everything separately. </p>\n<p>I'm not a developer myself, but sometimes I do need to look at code, in order to review something for example. My Ubuntu machine is eprfect just for that. </p>\n<p>Now, when I clock off, I switch back to my Windows desktop. Then I can easily play some Heroes of the Storm, which isn't available on Linux.
