You can follow these quick and easy steps and your phone should be up and running anytime it goes off in no time;

1. You're going to want to get a laptop for this, then make sure you've connected your phone to it.

2. Once your phone starts charging, let it charge for a little bit, it has to have a little power in the battery before you can really do anything

3. Unplug the phone from the computer then press the volume up and down button, and the home button then connect your phone to the computer.

4. The phone should come up and take you to an archaic looking menu, simply use the volume button and navigate to restart or reboot and click on it, your phone will be on in no time.

This mainly works for Samsung because they're one of the few manufacturers that still use home buttons, but if you're using a Samsung phone that doesn't have a home button like the s8 upwards then do this;

1. Push the volume up and volume down buttons, then push done the AI dedicated button or should I say the Bixby button. It should take you to the same archaic looking menu that I told you about. If it doesn't work then try connecting it to a computer while you're doing it.

If all this doesn't work then you could simply try and simulate a button by using a toothpick or any small material to push down the contact point of your button that's inside the phone. It might work but be careful not to damage anything in the phone.

I hope this helps.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkf3dzd8x","appParentAuthor":"jlordc","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"

Your button is probably dirty, take it to a shop and get it cleaned, if it doesn't work... RIP in Peperonis Phonerino I guess...
\n
Be careful when doing it, you don't want to slice your head against a wall or a pointy thing you decide to use to attempt this.
\n
ALSO: If you happen to cut yourself, bleed or break your head/bones or phone, I will need you to sign below a paper that says that you won't sue me over this, because I warned that you could slip and damage yourself, it happened to me a couple of times but nothing really serious.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkf3dzd8x","appParentAuthor":"jlordc","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"

How do I turn on my phone if the power button is broken?

Thanks! Already tried connecting it to a charger and a pc but it didn't turn on. All it did was display that the phone is charging.

I can't also enter boot mode since it needs the power button and the home button to be pressed at the same time. Guess I really have to get this fix.
