## Hi there,
 I would like to introduce the game **Steemcurve**. You can compete with other players to earn steem.

## This game was greatly inspired by Steemgar (@steemplayroom).

## What is Steemcurve?

It is a remake of the game also known as *IPCurve* or *Curve Fever IO*. Different to those games in **Steemcurve** you can earn steem by getting upvotes for winning.

## How to play

To play the game wait for @steemcurve to announce the next game. Then head over to [https://steemcurve.herokuapp.com](https://steemcurve.herokuapp.com) and login using **SteemConnectV2**. After the announcement post you got 5 minutes to join the game. If you don't make it you have to wait 30 minutes until the next game is announced.

## Important Information

* Two matches per hour at 15 and 45.
* One game consists of a minimum of 5 rounds.
* The player with the most points in the end will win.
* In the end of the game every player automatically creates a post with position and points.
* The first three players get upvotes.

## Instructions

* After the announcement post you have 5 minutes to join the game.
* Login using SteemConnectV2 and join the game.
* Your player moves continuously in the direction it is facing.
* After a certain distance your player creates a gap in the line.
* Move your player by turning left or right.
* Jump forward by pressing attack.
* You can jump forward only once per round.
* If you touch another line with the front of yours, you will die.
* You can go through walls.
* After each round the last 20% of players are removed from the game, until there are only 5 players left.

## Controls (Desktop)

* Press the left and right arrow keys to change directions.
* Press space to jump forward.

## Controls (Mobile)

* Touch the game area on the left or right to change direction.
* Touch the highscore area on the left to jump forward.
* Play in Fullscreen mode for the best experience possible.

## Points

* **Kill someone:** 1 point
* **Kill yourself:** -2 points
* **1st place in round:** 5 points
* **2nd place in round:** 2 points
* **3rd place in round:** 1 point
* **Sudden death:** 1 point for killing someone

## Leaderboard
At the end of a game the final leaderboard is added to the announcement post by @steemcurve as a comment similar to the following:

| 3 | Player 3 | 30 |

## Rewards
The winning players will get upvotes from @steemcurve and from the developer @primersion. The rewards will get bigger if the account starts growing and if people start following @steemcurve on [Steemauto](https://steemauto.com)

## Future improvements
* Add more special abilities like shooting a hole into opponents (see original game).
* Add a better reward system once @steemcurve has enough steem power
