How was your day? Tell me your stories about today, I'm always here and ready to listen.
Let me tell you about my day, it was a tiring and boring day. I realize that the adult life is really busy and there is a lot of pressure in life... And I'm going through a stressful period in terms of career, love and everything, it's making me feel suffocated. When you are bored, what do you do? Would you watch movies, listen to music or simply go somewhere to relax? For me, when I'm stressed, I usually find some big coffee shop where I can spend a few hours and think about something. This is a cafe located in my town, I guess it's the biggest in my town because I used to visit a lot of coffee shops in my town. Honestly, with the dangerous Covid epidemic like now, I don't dare to travel to other cities. It's been a year, I've just stayed at home and made friends with my laptop. I live in Hanoi city but in a suburban district, it is still poor compared to the strong development of big cities. Different from the coffee shops in the city center (they have a very small area, but the restaurant owner focuses on decoration and arrangement), the cafes in my town have a very large area, but it is a "garden" space and they rarely decorate every detail.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but if you find my post contains many English grammar mistakes, I hope you can forgive me. I'm simply a girl who likes to write content, but I'm not a good English writer. The cafe restaurant that I want to introduce now is called: "An Forest Coffee".

The restaurant has a large space, has a garden and has 2 floors. I wasn't able to tour the entire restaurant so my post only captures 2/3 of the restaurant space. The feeling when entering this restaurant is airy, clean and full of light. The restaurant is a combination of decoration of Vietnamese tradition and modernity of "Western countries''.
#### <div class="text-center">Traditional garden decoration:</div>
- As you know Vietnam is still an agricultural country, although my country is not rich, it is very peaceful and stable politically and socially. You can see this is the Chum (I looked for an English dictionary to translate it but it didn't exist) - an image very familiar to the Vietnamese village. When Vietnam was still in war and poverty, the Chum was the soul of the farmers. The 'Chum' is made of clay, in the past, Vietnamese people used it to store rice, rain water,alcohol, fish sauce, salt or agricultural products,..
The richer the families, the more "chum" they have. In the past during the rainy or flood seasons, Vietnamese families used to store all their rare objects in there to keep them safe because "Chum" always floats on the water and cats, rats cannot get in. Nowadays, the society is more developed, so I rarely see the image of the "Chum", it hardly appears in the cities, they have replaced it with plastic, glass or stainless steel pots.
- Vietnam is a tropical country with mostly hills and mountains (accounting for 3/4 of the territory). Therefore, the life of Vietnamese people must always have the green color of trees and leaves. In any table or corner, there must be a few plants to create freshness and comfort. For other coffee shops, they often put small flower pots on the table. But in this restaurant, the garden space has both banana and bamboo trees - plants that symbolize the images of Vietnamese farmers and soldiers.
Banana tree is close to the life of farmers, in the days of poverty, Vietnamese people had to eat the whole banana stem, banana tuber, banana flower, in short, all parts of the banana tree were food. Banana trees have fed the Vietnamese people in the days of war and most suffering. To this day, the banana tree is still a symbol of loyalty and gratitude to the heroes who fought to protect the territorial integrity of Vietnam (dogma: when drinking water, think of its source). On the ancestral altar of every Vietnamese family, there is always a bunch of bananas and banana flowers and banana leaves become specialties in Vietnamese dishes. The bamboo tree is a symbol of the unity of the nation ( Bamboo plants don't grow separately and they often grow in clusters), and it is a symbol of the honesty, resilience, patience and indomitableness of the Vietnamese soldiers. Bamboo trees symbolize the vitality, which can resist against strong all rain storms or bombs. Nowadays, bamboo is used to make furniture and household items in Vietnamese.
#### <div class="text-center">Modern design cafe restaurant:</div>
- This cafe restaurant has Koi fish tanks to create a more natural and cool space.
- The advantage of this restaurant is: there are large and clean toilets, like the toilets in high-class 5-star hotels haha I took some pictures here.
#### <div class="text-center">About menu and drinks</div>
There are many drinks for you to choose and the prices are reasonable (only $1.5 per cup). I ordered a cup of peach milk tea (taste good and very fragrant with peach jelly,chilled peaches) and a cup of fruit mixed with yogurt (including pineapple, strawberry, mango, watermelon, jelly, peach).
- Some other suggestions for drinks:
+ Cafe : espresso, americano, latte, cappuccino, mocha, caramel machiato, black cafe, milk cafe.
+ Smoothies: custard apple, avocado, mango
+ Fruit tea: tropical mango tea, melon green tea, pink guava green tea, pink grapefruit green tea, pineapple tea, orange strawberry tea.
+ Drinks with ground ice: matcha jelly, chocolate jelly, caramel jelly, classic jelly, mango coconut.
+ Milk tea: black sugar pearl fresh milk, hota cacao black sugar pearl, strawberry, peach, mango, egg cream pearl milk black tea
+ Juices: pineapple, guava, watermelon, orange, passion fruit, coconut.
+ Other drinks: mango yaku, strawberry yaku, pineapple yaku, fresh milk, chocolate, ginger tea, matcha, lipton, traditional tea
+ Topping : Crispy white pearls, sugar black pearls, peach jelly

After enjoying milk tea and the restaurant's space, my mood was more comfortable. I can't spot the weak point of this restaurant, highly recommend and i will come back here again and again.💓💓💓
