Arsenal tried to go too defensive against city and switched to 3 at the back and well even with Xhaka it back fired as was expected and Arsenal don’t have the chops to switch formations under Mikel
I think they need to go back to the 4-2-3-1 they’ve been more comfortable with and get their strongest line up out there.
At the moment I would say it would be
- Leno
- Tomiyasi- white - Gabriel - tierney
- Lakonga - Partey
- Saka - odegaard - smith Rowe
- Aubamayang
If they don’t get it together against norwich and not just an okay performance I think Mikel will get the sack! He is really on borrowed time and if we don’t see improvements.
Fans are already pretty fed up with this and with the big spending they did this summer its all just seems like he just doesn’t have what to takes
Not even wenger nor unai got this much backing so whats so special about mikel he needs to show us
