| body | "Even though our little family breakaway became quite a wet trip, we were able to enjoy ourselves and spend some real quality time as the family.
And we were lucky to be served quite awesome food so far, which I would like to share here.
First picture was our breakfast set this morning, and the second one last nightâs dinner. Both are typical Japanese meals which are served in a rather traditional Japanese hotel.
For breakfast too, you get some soup and rice, accompanied by vegetables and some fish. Itâs not a super heavy but pretty healthy and easy to digest.
Dinner is rather opulent and also contains several small dishes of raw and cooked fish, meat and vegetables and some very interesting things I canât really tell what it is. Itâs not challenging at all, but pretty hard to choose in which order you want to eat it up.
As for me, dinner is a clear winner, so I will leave you a few more pictures of our feasting last night.
Raw Sashimi and a little stove Ofen cooking some Sukiyaki.
Sukiyaki with beef, Shitake mushrooms and some
veggies in a delicious broth.
More fish and some of those excellent tiny but delicious side dishes.
Some tofu and Japanese pickles, mainly radish. No way I can resist.
Letâs see what the day gonna bring us, it is still raining but that wonât stop us to have some great time.
