I was going to take the day off and not write anything today, but I just took a look at my account and the price of Hive is just nuts to me.
I am still unsure what the catalyst is for this huge boom in price. I know that the price is reflective of the utility of the chain, but this happened all at once and its nuts. I have to imagine that things will come back down eventually, but for the time being this is insanity. Additionally, just seeing these prices getting reached is a huge sign for the future. It confirms that the market believes what the community believes in that Hive is really worth something here.
I am very happy to have gotten involved with the blockchain just about a year ago. Though I haven't been around as long as some, I feel like I have a good understanding of how things work here and have really enjoyed being a part of this ecosystems growth.
I think that we will continue to see new users and more people getting involved and I am thankful to have gotten into it when I did. I will continue to stack tokens and participate because I enjoy it and it can be a real path to paying off a lot of debts in the future and securing financial freedom.
Hive for me has gone from a way of tracking my hobby and monetizing my free time to something that will eventually pay off my student debt and help me get my life set up. Hive is a real difference maker no matter where you are in the world. This is exciting, new and legit. Glad to be here.
