| body | "Щодня в новинах читаю про постійні обстріли Харкова. Це багатостраждальне місто з перших днів війни відчуло на собі всю лють “руського миру”. Останній раз я була там у 2020 році. Харків вразив мене своєю ошатністю. З біллю в серці думаю про те, як змінила його війна.

Одну з наших внутрішньо переміщених харків’янок на минулому тижні викликали на роботу. Її батько повернувся додому ще 3 місці тому та приступив до своїх обов’язків керівника однієї з комунальних служб. Мати жінки залишилася в нас, у гуртожитку. Так от ця жінка говорить, що донька скоро повернеться, адже жити в Харкові неможливо. Не було жодної спокійної ночі, а гепає так, що будинок здригається. Говорить, що батько вже звик, а тому спить і не реагує на всі вибухи та пожежі, що здіймаються поруч. Коротше, чоловік адаптувався. Правду говорять, що людина – істота, яка може звикнути до всього, навіть до найгіршого.

The woman's mother stayed with us, in the dormitory. So this woman says that her daughter will return soon, because it is impossible to live in Kharkiv. There was not a single peaceful night, and it was blowing so hard that the house was shaking. He says that his father is already used to it, and that's why he sleeps and does not react to all the explosions and fires that break out nearby. In short, the man adapted. They say the truth that a person is a creature that can get used to everything, even the worst.
Вчора з Харкова повернулася моя подруга. Вона їздила в гуртожиток сина, щоб забрати речі та написати заяву на виселення. Приміщення “консервують”, як повідомили в закладі освіти. Воно й не дивно, адже майже всі студентські гуртожитки знаходяться на Салтівці, яку чи не щодня бомблять.

Подруга розповіла, про перше, що “кинулося” їй в очі – мала кількість людей: напівпорожні вулиці, дуже мало громадського та приватного транспорту. Багато будинків без вікон, із фанерою замість шибок. Велика кількість багатоповерхівок із дірками від ракетних влучень. Деякі будівлі напіврозвалені. Їх гуртожиток без вікон, а поряд інший – з чорною дірою замість верхніх поверхів. Магазин, в якому минулого року моя подруга здійснювала господарські покупки, повністю згорів. Стоїть лише чорний каркас. Кіоск з молокопродуктами, що так любили студенти, закритий, а через вікна видно сліди горіння.
Найбільший базар Харкова “Барабашово” зачинений. Він згорів у перші дній війни. Пожежу гасили дуже довго. Чи працюють хоч якісь павільйони невідомо.

Kharkiv's largest bazaar "Barabashovo" is closed. It burned down in the first days of the war. The fire was extinguished for a very long time. It is not known whether any pavilions are working.
Та незважаючи на все, в Харкові дуже чисто. Ніде немає сміття від розбомблених будівель, скрізь охайно викошена трава, навіть клумби засаджені квітами.
Звичайно, це заслуга місцевих мешканців та комунальних служб. Важко уявити той об’єм роботи, який їм щодня доведеться виконувати, щоб місто не виглядало, як з фільму жахів. Ці люди (комунальщики), виконуючи професійні обов’язки, насправді вершять тихий подвиг. Адже дуже важливо зробити у ці страшні дні війни рідні вулиці придатними для проживання, щоб розруха та безлад не викликали в людей апатії. Таким чином, підіймається моральний дух містян та відновлюється віра в майбутнє та перемогу.

Of course, this is the merit of local residents and communal services. It's hard to imagine the amount of work they have to do every day to keep the city from looking like something out of a horror movie. These people (utility workers), performing their professional duties, actually perform a silent feat. After all, it is very important to make native streets habitable in these terrible days of war, so that destruction and disorder do not cause people apathy. Thus, the morale of the townspeople rises and faith in the future and victory is restored.
Я думаю, якщо навіть в умовах активної війни Харків не просто тримається, а живе та функціонує, то по завершенні війни, місто відбудується дуже швидкими темпами.
Вірю незламність всіх українських міст. Вірю в ЗСУ та перемогу над рашистами 💛💙.
>I think that even in the conditions of an active war, Kharkiv does not just hold on, but lives and functions, then after the end of the war, the city will be rebuilt at a very fast pace.
