Our self-talk is a direct effect of our minds-set. If we don't like where we are and what our abilities are, we will likely feel unmotivated. We should focus on our ambitions and encourage ourselves on the everyday tasks that need to be done to reach our goals set before us.
Where we keep reminding ourselves of payoffs in the future, there's a good chance that we won't do anything today because of the fear of failure or consequences.
Motivation can be learned and not just given by parents or teachers but also through one's own environment around them both people and physical surroundings contribute greatly to moods.
It is easy to assume that past successes will continue to happen in the future. It is important not to forget lessons from the past because it's exactly from those encounters that we need to extract a better understanding of what managing our minds entails.
If you still think about yesterday, you won't enjoy the present today. If you are thinking about the present only for some aspects, like fatigue or failing; then your mind gets stuck in unwanted thoughts and this prevents anything new from coming into your life.
Although our pulse quickens to the thought of bigger, better, and brighter things that our future could hold, there is truth in the phrase "do not dwell in the past." Instead, we should be motivated to practice and improve what work we do now. Only then can we flourish in an ever-changing world.
Many people generally feel that they lack motivation. While they may be lacking ability or desire when it comes to personal development, determination serves as a powerful watchword for success. Similarly, the ruse of just beginning will help many people set attainable goals for themselves.
Sometimes we control our own motivation, other times not. But when we aren't, there's always someone who is willing to help us with a helping hand. That caretaker/trainer is our mental trainer/supporter. Did you know?
Mental training also activates self-efficacy a measure of people's belief that they can take action to change their environment and attain goals which accountability allows us to attain our goals more efficiently and functionally.
This means that it really depends on you whether your psychologist/coach is an antagonistic force or might be influenced by your mental activities in improving your psychological performance on various aspects of life execution.
If writing has a power that drives it, then it is not on a desk, but in the body. A physical part of our complex human species. It is there where we find all aspects of self: consciousness; our thoughts and desires, heart and aspirations; even reason and accountability.
Dwelling in the past or dreaming of the future is useless; they are just depressing. The present moment should be the only thing we focus on. While sometimes it becomes too much to bear sometimes, dissipating energy by hiding from life is an excuse for mediocrity. The future is never set in stone, so it should not influence our present behavior. The past comes to teach us what could have been and the present makes our decisions based on that knowledge. No matter what happens, life should be enjoyed at the moment; this is what gives it meaning.
