Sleep suddenly disappeared from the woman's eyes. For a few seconds, she looked at the room in the stupor of just waking up. Then she got out of bed and went to the bathroom. She washed her face and got out of the bathroom. She walked to the window with the black curtains that turned even the day into night, and when she pulled the curtain aside, the light of day entered her room. Then she went to the kitchen and started to prepare a cup of coffee for herself.
