If I were to point out the most important games of my childhood, who would be at the top of the list would surely be Rayman 3.
From the moment the game Rayman 3 was announced, I knew I had to have it, I loved Rayman 2 then, so like I said, I had to have it.
Finally, after some time my dad bought me my dream game and I could start having fun :)
You had to go to the store and buy it, those were the times, there was no Steam yet
The game cost PLN 69 in Poland and of course from first sight it turned out to be even better than I expected. And since then I have been coming back to her over the years, always having the same fun as usual.
Despite so many years since its premiere, Rayman 3 looks insanely good. If someone ever wanted to play it, but is afraid that this game is old, they can stop being afraid, because despite so many years since the premiere, as I said before, Rayman 3 plays great.
Let me start with the fact that Rayman 3 is a rare example of a game in which the graphics almost never get old.
To this day, characters like Rayman and Globox move fantastically and look fantastic. The locations are vivid and full of colors, everything is just nice.
From the very first moment, Rayman 3 is a hands-on ride ... literally! because as Rayman we slide around, held by the hair by Murphy, and we hold on to nothing ... because we have no hands.
We are also fired upon by the Hoodlums who are not very friendly towards us. And then the fun begins. Although not quite ... Well, because we still don't have hands ... but after a few minutes serving as a tutorial, the game teaches us how to start the helicopter, i.e. Rayman's hair.
We meet Globox with our hands and from that moment the game really begins. We learn to fight immediately, we visit the beautiful headquarters of rusalkas, play with cans (I always called them washing powders), solve puzzles, jump on platforms, fight even more, until we see Globox accidentally swallow Andre - Hoodlum trying to reach the heart of the world and put your evil plan into action.
Then they send us to the doctor to take Andre out of Globox's belly. To get there, everything takes place in some strange cosmos on a skateboard with funky music.
And this is what the first 20 minutes of the game look like, and then it just happens more and faster. In general, a lot is happening, there are many different levels - And this, for example, we are swimming on the Globox up the waterfall. Either we swing with electric grippers like on lianas, or we shoot a rocket at the target, or we crush hordes of enemies with a special machine, or we are racing the witch around the cauldron, or we run after some freak around his mansion. The further into the adventure, the stranger things happen, surprising us and refreshing the Gameplay all the time.
Running, jumping and exploring are just as good as the previous section, thanks to the same comfortable controls and varied and balanced challenges.
On the other hand, the fight in the Three is incomparably better than in Rayman 2, which is probably why there is a lot, much more. On the one hand, it is quite easy and fast, but on the other hand, it requires constant focus, side-swinging and spinning the projectiles left and right, but it is fun even after several hours of play. In addition, there are many types of enemies on our way - from ordinary boxers to shooters or to mages, armored giants, small jerks, etc.
If you add to this great levels full of moving elements, we get a platformer in which there is simply no time for boredom, and every moment spent with it is pure fun. A nice thing is the score counter with the Combo marker, which encourages you to complete the stages optimally, combining fights and gathering crystals in such a way as to get as many points as possible.
As for the bonuses that can be unlocked in the game Thanks to points, these are mini-games and funny videos. I remember when I was little and I wanted to unblock all these videos Because they were really very funny.

The game is quite short because it takes up to 9 hours to complete it the first time. But the atmosphere of the game gives us everything.
In conclusion I personally think Rayman 3 is much better than Rayman 2. For me, Rayman 3 is an excellent, extremely fun and great platformer, which, despite so much time since its premiere, is still the most beautiful and best game of this genre on PC, so I highly recommend it.
