| body | "The VCs for LUNA's $1B BTC purchase have a 4 year waiting period before they can sell, if I recall correctly. But your point does still stand, there will be some turbulent times at points ion the future, until the custody of coins becomes more decentralized among a larger number of users and there are less whales that could rock the price. It will likely take some years. The Terra LUNA/Haven Protocol model for price stability is one of the best though imo, and I think we will see new stablecoins in the future move away from the fiat-backed stablecoin model, which comes with many serious risks, since they are at the mercy of the legacy banking system.
