| body | "Those who can afford to travel abroad tend to visit scenic places of the distant land. And it is not so easy to cross international boarders now due to the COVID19. Hence, the local scenic places are now popular for visitors from within Malaysia.
Indeed, Sabah, where I come from have many attractive places. Those who love nature or ecotourism can easily locate such attractions in Sabah, the land below the wind.
Over the years, my wife and me have visited quite a number of local scenic places. At time, we would stay overnight or up to a few nights at a village chalet, a mountain lodge or a local house, which gives us an opportunity to be closer to the nature. We do enjoy the night scene away from the urban setting. We could hear the sound of insects, and enjoy the cool night breeze.
One of my friends has been operating a number of chalets, and it is known as the Village Mesilau. It is located in the vicinity of Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain of South East Asia. There is a rock river beside the Village Mesilau.
Those who visit Village Mesilau could enjoy spring climate. And the climate is conducive for planting beautiful flowers.
Certainly the nearby Mount Kinabalu is gigantic. For those who do not attempt to climb the mountain. They can still have a good view of the beautiful mountain from different nearby area.
