A few weeks ago, during the school holiday, my wife and I went for a short break to Salt Rock, which is a small coastal town on the North Coast of the KwaZulu Natal province of South Africa.
I love early morning walks on the beach and it was during one of these walks the I took these photos.

This area has a number of beautiful beaches, where one can relax and enjoy the sand, sun and water!!

They also have this nice tidal pool where one can swim if the sea is not to your liking, this is specially great for kids as the sea can be quite rough at times.

We were actually going visiting the neighbouring town of Ballito, but we got free accommodation for one night in Salt Rock which was great.
