Hallo Freunde / *Hello friends*

Wir waren mal wieder auf Achse heute, diesmal im Ringheiligtum Pömmelte in der Nähe von Schönebeck. / *We were on the road again, this time at the prehistoric monument of Pömmelte in the near of Schönebeck (Saxony-Anhalt).*

Das Heiligtum wurde vor etwa 4300 Jahren am Ende der Steinzeit zur gleichen Zeit und in ähnlicher Weise wie auch Stonehenge erbaut. / *The monument was constructed about 4300 years ago at approximately the same time and manner such as Stonehenge.*

Es besteht im Wesentlichen aus mehreren Zirkeln, welche es einst ermöglichten das Innere komplett von der Außenwelt abzuschirmen, sowohl visuell als auch akustisch. / *The construction was originally made of multiple circles to enable a complete isolation from the outside world.*

Alle Zugänge sind nach astronomischen Koordinaten ausgerichtet. Die Anlage diente primär für heidnische Rituale, hatte also vor allem einen religiösen Zweck. / *All paths in the complex were constructed according to astronomic coordinates. Therefore, the entire monument had religious purposes.*

Inwiefern dabei auch bestimmte Mittelchen zum Einsatz kamen weiß ich nicht 😉. / *Whether certain goodies were used to get a better connection to god I can’t answer 😉.*

Überall um die Anlage herum befinden sich durch Beton markierte Stellen wo verschiedene Relikte und Artefakte, sowie Überreste von Menschen gefunden wurden. / *Everywhere around the complex you can find spots where artifacts and graves were exhumed.*

Manche waren dabei so angeordnet wie im Bild oben… / *Some of them were in an ordered way such in the picture above…*

… andere hingegen waren verstreut und zum Teil außerhalb der Anlage zu finden. / *… others, however, were dispersed and partially located outside of the complex.*

Der Interpretation nach wurden im Inneren mächtige Personen und Krieger verscharrt. Wohingegen außen eher die Opfer von Ritualen zu finden waren. Diese Opfer waren teilweise zerstückelt und ohne Beigaben verscharrt wurden. Also liefen dort Dinge, wie in einem Horrorfilm ab. / *It was interpreted that in the inner circles powerful people whereas outside the complex the victims of rituals cut into pieces without grave goods were buried. Scenes as you know from horror movies.*

So friedlich wie heute war es demnach wohl nicht immer dort. / *It was therefore not always that peaceful as today.*

Über das Ringheiligtum Pömmelte habt ihr einen sehr
interessanten Artikel geschrieben.
Es ist toll, dass diese Stätte so gut rekonstruiert wurde.

Na Logo und in der Nähe von Schönebeck sogar noch eins. Womöglich waren das zwei Projekte, wobei jenes bei Pömmelte der 'Ort des Jenseits' und bei Schönebeck der 'Ort des Diesseits' war.

Die großen Ähnlichkeiten mit Stongehenge suggerieren, dass es sich um eine Kulturleistung handelte, die überall in Europa vorhanden war.

Wahrscheinlich auch in allen Teilen Deutschlands.
